Creative Circle announces "The app store" for local publishers

A series of target web applications will provide new revenue, quality content

"We are creating a family of simple, self-service applications that can be deployed to serve very specific roles for local publishers," said Bill Ostendorf, president of Creative Circle Media Solutions. "These applications generate quality content and new revenue desperately needed to keep local news sites alive and well."

The app effort began with a coronavirus focus with "What's Open" to help businesses get the word out about their status. It was deployed by more than 200 web sites and helped both local businesses and local publishers survive the first ugly months of the pandemic.

Then we added "Honor My Grad" to help parents brag about their 2020 grads.

That was followed by "My Election Candidates" to generate both revenue and content from local political candidates.

"Honor My Mom" and "Honor My Dad" followed to generate new content and revenue surrounding Mother's Day and Father's Day.

Watch for future releases on charitable gifts, pet contests, COVID heroes, Valentine's Day and more.
