Bristol

Political platform statement

Why I am running for this office: I am proud of the progress our community has made. We’ve prioritized our children by fully investing in their education, we finished significant capital projects (see the Independence Park Boardwalk), and we’re continuing to resurface our roads and invest in our infrastructure.

This year, we rolled out our new trash and recycling cart program with both positive community response and cost savings; we implemented LED lighting town-wide; and we are continuing with the expansion of our waterfront, which is an economic engine for our town. We must find innovative ways to recruit and support small businesses so they can thrive in our town. We need to provide support to our Senior Citizens so they can age in their homes and maintain access to essential services. We need to attract families to Bristol to make this their home and raise their children.

The ongoing impact of COVID-19 means we have big challenges ahead. What Bristol looks like ‘post-coronavirus’ will largely be based on the decisions we make now. Together, we will continue our town’s success.

I want to continue working for you and our great old town! I promised you that I would always work as part of the council team, to bring a fresh approach and to always put the people of Bristol first. I have kept and recommit to my promise. I ask for your continued support and vote in this election.
